The dashcam arrived as usual from CVantrue the very next day. The camera arrived well packaged, all components without injury. The pictures and video quality is really good. The operation is super simple and actually possible without the enclosed German manual. An SD card should be purchased in addition. Finally found this autokameta,works very well. Fits perfectly for our car. Am thrilled and gives a smooth recommendation.

Stuttering recording sometimes the picture goes back once briefly then everything is normal again. And as soon as you start driving you can not see fine details. So who wants to have smooth picture and clean picture, should buy the VANTRUE n2 pro or the itracker for 159, and then everything will be good.

Makes a good impressionJuly 31, 2022

I bought the camera for my vacation (rental car) and will soon test it extensively in Greece, where it can get warm in the car. In the home test, however, the camera works great. The operation is virtually self-explanatory, which I find important with such devices. Although the camera is made entirely of plastic (which ultimately makes it lightweight), it doesn't look cheap. The cable for the power supply to the mount is quite long, the cable for the connection to the computer long enough to connect the camera to the computer. But it's easier if you take out the memory card and plug it directly into the computer (with the appropriate adapter, of course). I'm also curious about the time-lapse mode. And, oh yes, the unpacking is a joy. So far, then: purchase recommendation.

I received and tested the Venture dashcam last week. The quality is very good during the day and night. I can recommend this for all because only so you can prove in traffic who is at fault and who is not. Price performance for the camera is right.

The device is useless because it discharges the battery within a few days to the extent that the car no longer starts. My battery has when fully charged 12.7 volt (Bosch) and is 3 years old. The device is operated in the cigarette lighter and even if I with dashcam in the cigarette lighter and radio and air conditioning off, the battery is completely discharged within a few days. Normally I always drive with radio and air conditioning, ( without dashcam) and never had a discharged battery, so I can say that this device consumes more energy than air conditioning and radio together. I have now had to connect my battery to the mains for the third time and recharge it to start again within 2 weeks.

Product impression: It does not look cheap. It’s well built and the outside feels like rubberized. I left it in a car through very hot summer and still no issue.

Very good resolution: See the photos. Both interior and exterior resolutions are good. Interior of my car is black leather and the person is wearing dark blue jacket but the camera still shows a good image. I redacted the face but details are pretty good. Vehicle license plate numbers can be read on 1080P (outside)/1080P(inside). The menu also offers a higher resolution but then it does not offer dual camera views.

Easy setup: Good suction cup/holder is very steady and not shaky. Well built, plug and play as the factory setting is already good for most users. Menu and buttons are simple and easy to understand. Good user interface.

Excellent/responsive customer: Customer support by email is very responsive and genuinely interested in resolving a customer’s concerns and issues. It generally takes 1 or 2 days to response but they do get back to you. They also don’t hesitate to offer exchange a defective dash cam under warranty after trouble shootings.

Optional GPS: Quick fix GPS antenna and enables speed of a vehicle stamps on video files.

Suggestion: Use good quality micro SD cards made for frequent write/delete like SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring. Check once in a while to make sure the files are not corrupted. Reformat every 1 or 2 weeks. Keep one extra SD card as backup. Throw away and get a new one if SD cards keep corrupted or turns on/off the dash cam. Also, always use OEM cable and charger. Connect USB directly to the dash cam rather than through the holder or GPS antenna if you are having any power issue. Update firmware only if necessary so that you know if the dash cam experiences some issues you can spot the issue.
