updated review enclosed, had to take away some starsReviewed in the United States on July 26, 2020
Updated Review: 11/28/20Got rear ended at night time, and the video quality was so bad we could not read the license plate number from the vehicle that hit us from the rear, the driver sped away really fast and the rear and front cams picture is blurry when it comes to reading or zooming in on the license plate of the driver that hit us, while this camera picture quality is great in the daytime, its awful in the night time during low light, and who is to say like in our case an accident will happen at night with low light rendering this cam useless.Cons:Does (NOT) have Wi-Fi.Does (NOT) have cloud storage like some other cams.Does (NOT) have apps to install on your phone to view videosCould (NOT) open video file with older Computer programs.I wish we were better educated on cam features before buying this. Return window expired. Learn from our experience and invest in a cam that has more features such as Wi-Fi, cloud storage, phone app, and definitely better night vision, go with 4k with at least 30-60 fps (Recording in Frames per seconds) highly recommended 4k with 60 fps based on my research. We rely on reviews and reviews have helped us many times in deciding what to buy, Hope this review helps you decide what you want. based on my research I'm undecided on either buying the Blackvue 900X or the Thinkware U1000. Anyone that owns those I would love your feedback on nighttime pic quality?Original Review:I'm very impressed by this dash cam, and customer service was very helpful in helping me figure some stuff out, picture quality is good. 5 stars :)
