Good ext/int dashcam - should have WiFi and free GPS at this priceReviewed in the United States on March 27, 2019
Overall a solid quality product, but should be more fancy for the price point. I paid $200 at time of purchase. Would be great if it came with WiFi so I could view it from my cellphone and if the GPS mount wasn't extra $.Pros:- seems solidly built- records exterior and interior- has night vision for interior when dark, good visibility- picks up audio ( can be disabled if you like)- takes large memory cards- easy to mount- you can plug cord neatly into mount and hide wire, instead of into cam- can be hardwired into vehicle easily enough and has parking modeCons:- Should have WiFi so you could view/edit and save footage on your mobile devices and save on cloud. And be able to view remotely.- Dealing with plugging camera into your computer and going through diff file folders because of no WiFi- You have to pay extra for a mount that gives it GPS (my original was kinda loose so their sending me a free GPS which is cool of them)- Wish they had easier access to customer service like a national 800 number and how to videos on wiring so I didn’t have to figure it all out myself.- Thing shut down on me for a few days once, but was fine after I brought it inside and let it chill for some days (maybe the cold weather)I drive Uber / Lyft and needed a dashcam for my own safety, as far as possible road incidents and with passengers.I bought this camera as well as its hardwire kit and have it wired in and “Parking Mode” enabled so it can still pick up and record motions when my vehicle is off. Not really sure how that works due to living on a pretty busy street with a lot of foot and vehicle traffic so lots of motion.
