**Updated** VanTrue sent me a replacement, and the replacement does not have the issue the original had, so I've updated my review. It really is a fantastic camera, but... just be careful - IF YOU NOTICE THE TIMESTAMP RESETTING, YOUR CAMERA IS DEFECTIVE - GET IT REPLACED!**Original review below**The camera shows it is recording, but the date keeps resetting to 01/01/2018. Didn't care much because the dateline doesn't bother me. After an accident, went to pull the files to prove the other party was at fault, and the camera hadn't saved a video file since last fall (5 months ago). Reformatted the card, tried a new card, updated firmware - still the same problem. The camera is definitely defective. Easy to test if you have this problem. Leave the camera unplugged for 3-4 days if you can. If the date/time stamp resets, you have a dud, get it replaced!!
