Nice dash cam for different vehiclesReviewed in the United States

First - no memory is included. Be sure to buy an SD card with this dash cam. Buy the VanTrue brand to be sure of reliability. The video captured may well be worth many times the price of the camera and memory card.I have a much more expensive installed dash cam for my daily ride share driving. I will be repositioning trucks across state lines and relocating new cars for dealers. I wanted an easily portable dash cam to prove I am not at fault if a collision occurs. This camera comes with a suction base and GPS. It’s easily installed and removed for temporary use. The power cord is really long - about 11.5 feet.The picture quality is much better than my two year old dash cam which is to be expected.I would not assume the rubber and silicone would survive Phoenix summer temperatures. The mount is easy to release from the windshield and take with you in severe weather conditions. For my purpose I won’t leave the camera installed other than when I’m driving.My other dash cam has WiFi to view and download video files. I dreaded taking my laptop just to see videos on the VanTrue memory card. Turns out there are SD card readers that plug directly into my iPhone and iPad. The Files app which is part of the iOS reads and transfers the video. I couldn’t ask for a simpler solution. I’m using the card reader by Suntrsi - # B088FG2DB5.Good video and ease of use is a good combination.

Suction cup doesn’t work, making it uselessReviewed in the United States

I’m not sure but I think this unit is useless if it doesn’t stay on the windsheild. A strong suction connection is necessary for anything that is going to attach to a windshield and be in the sun. I have to go through all the hassles now of returning it.

Great cam but...Reviewed in the United States

This is would be a great cam if it stayed in the window. It was doing well the first 3 weeks now it constantly falls while driving. Wish I could return it. Missed my window by one day. Buy something without a window mount.

Product impression: It does not look cheap. It’s well built and the outside feels like rubberized. I left it in a car through very hot summer and still no issue.

Very good resolution: See the photos. Both interior and exterior resolutions are good. Interior of my car is black leather and the person is wearing dark blue jacket but the camera still shows a good image. I redacted the face but details are pretty good. Vehicle license plate numbers can be read on 1080P (outside)/1080P(inside). The menu also offers a higher resolution but then it does not offer dual camera views.

Easy setup: Good suction cup/holder is very steady and not shaky. Well built, plug and play as the factory setting is already good for most users. Menu and buttons are simple and easy to understand. Good user interface.

Excellent/responsive customer: Customer support by email is very responsive and genuinely interested in resolving a customer’s concerns and issues. It generally takes 1 or 2 days to response but they do get back to you. They also don’t hesitate to offer exchange a defective dash cam under warranty after trouble shootings.

Optional GPS: Quick fix GPS antenna and enables speed of a vehicle stamps on video files.

Suggestion: Use good quality micro SD cards made for frequent write/delete like SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring. Check once in a while to make sure the files are not corrupted. Reformat every 1 or 2 weeks. Keep one extra SD card as backup. Throw away and get a new one if SD cards keep corrupted or turns on/off the dash cam. Also, always use OEM cable and charger. Connect USB directly to the dash cam rather than through the holder or GPS antenna if you are having any power issue. Update firmware only if necessary so that you know if the dash cam experiences some issues you can spot the issue.
